Fresh Air in Schools is very important
Nature
as medicine
Kids
who spend more time outside are more likely to lead a healthier life. It’s that
simple! More time spent outdoors means more physical activity which is great
for all areas of health. Studies show that kids who get outside more are less
likely to develop heart disease, high blood pressure, type two diabetes or high
cholesterol as adults.
There’s a large body of research that shows that poor ventilation and pollution, which is highly prevalent around urban schools, have major effects on children’s health, performance and wellbeing. School staff are also affected by poor air quality and they have a right to a safe working environment.
