One of the reasons parents are so quick to choose an international school is the international curriculum used to educate your children, such as the challenging International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
The IB Programme at the International School of Tanganyika (IST) nurtures a love of learning and inquiry in students. Allowing students to increase their knowledge base, demonstrate their comprehension and then act upon what they’ve learned.

A curriculum-first school design is based on the underlying assumption that if they know this and can do this, that this will be the result. Of course, it doesn’t always work out that way. Worse, we tend to celebrate school success instead of human success. We create ‘good schools’ that graduate scores of students with very little hope for the future. How crazy is that?
