BENEFITS OF WORKING IN OUR SOCIETY - PART 3

9. Contribute to the development of the country

The country gets its money through the levies and taxes we pay. Work is the backbone of the country’s economy. Developmental projects in the country such as building schools, hospitals, construction of roads etc, are done through the money we pay. A nation with a lot of working people will develop faster than a country with less people working.

10. Promotes unity

Ghana is made up of different ethnic groups, people with different characters and among others. In our work places, we have different people coming from different homes. We socialize and learn from them. We must always make sure we learn the good sides of people.

11. Work helps us make money to fulfill our dreams

What is money, really? Money is fuel. Money is the fuel to achieve whatever it is that we want to achieve. Without work, we cannot generate that fuel. Only if you have fuel, you would be able to drive the car of your life to somewhere. Without work, unless you are the Reserve Bank of your country, you cannot generate money. Therefore, work is such an important thing, because without it, there would be no way to general financial value, which is money.

12. Work provides opportunities for personal growth

Engaging in work offers a platform for continuous personal development. As individuals tackle new tasks and challenges, they acquire fresh skills and knowledge. This ongoing learning process enhances their adaptability and versatility, making them more resilient in the face of change.

The acquisition of skills, from technical proficiencies to soft skills like communication and problem-solving, nurtures personal growth by expanding one’s capabilities and boosting self-confidence. This growth extends beyond the workplace, positively influencing other aspects of life and fostering a sense of achievement.
