Active Listening: When your students feel that they are truly heard, they are more likely to engage in your lessons. So, to make your students feel valued, you must be an active listener when they speak about their issues or confusions.
Adapting to Individual Needs: It is essential for you as a teacher to adapt your communication to your students. This is because every student is different and has a different background, learning style, and personality. Flexibility can greatly influence the learning process of your students.
Verbal Communication: As a teacher, you spend a significant portion of your time verbally communicating with your students. Therefore, if you are clear, concise, and adaptable with your instructions or explanations, it will create a positive environment.
Non-Verbal Communication: Body language and facial expressions can communicate more than words do. Hence, having enthusiasm, empathy, and positive expressions can make a huge difference for your students.
