    Boost
    Confidence in your Exams

    1. Add
    fuel to the brain

    Many
times students get caught up in preparation for exams and as a result, they
forget about taking care of their bodies. All physiques need food for optimum
operation. Even your brain needs energy to work at full capacity.
Nervousness and anxiety can often stem from a lack of proper diet.
Drinking sufficient amounts of water is also important to avoid nervousness and
anxiety, along with consuming a well-balanced diet of food that is rich in
antioxidants. A light snack and drinking a glass of water while studying can
    help ease tension.

    2.
    Ask

    Make
sure you have done the correct kind of studying — this doesn’t mean merely
reading notes all day and night; you must also practice past test problems.
Don’t just disregard a question when you can’t answer it completely on a past
paper; call a buddy or, even better, speak to your tutor. Keep in mind that if
a question is challenging for you, it probably will be for other applicants as well.
Meet with your tutor, if you have one, to go over subjects you don’t grasp.

    3. Make a study schedule.

    To
make sure you don’t leave studying to the last minute, create a schedule for
when you will study during the days or weeks before the exam. For example,
you could commit to studying for one hour a day right after school for one week
    before the exam.

    Making
a study schedule can help you to avoid allowing other activities to interfere
    with studying.

    Plan
to study for about 45 minutes at a time. It’s difficult to concentrate for more
than 45 minutes. You may find it easier to concentrate if you take short breaks
    once an hour.
