4. It Is Good to Have a Head start
It is no secret that to do well in mathematics one has to master the concepts and apply them to problems through practice. However, different students learn and grasp concepts at different paces. Moreover, there are many reasons why students struggle with math. Thus, to be prepared for what you will learn in school, it is imperative that you start learning mathematics now and seize the opportunity and get into the game early
5. Sometimes, it takes a few more attempts to succeed
Tell yourself, “I can do it!” If you cannot answer a difficult question, try approaching it with other methods and concepts. I usually prefer to put the question aside and re-attempt it after a few hours or even a few days if I cannot solve it after many failed attempts. I take a break and let my mind relax before rereading the question. There have been questions that I could not tackle previously but after a break, I could.
6. Focus on Essential Heuristics
Have you ever wondered why most students think that algebra is the only method to use when solving secondary Math's questions? Let’s clear up one myth: Algebra is definitely not the only way to solve mathematical problems. In fact, using Algebra is often known as a heuristic called "working backwards".
