Advantages of Mathematics
Cooking and Baking
Surprisingly, math is involved in cooking and
baking. We use mathematics to measure ingredients, determine their
quantity, the ratio of various components, cooking techniques, cookware to
be used, and many other things. We also measure the temperature for baking. It
requires a basic understanding of fractions and ratios and the ability to
perform simple calculations.
