Shopping and Budgeting
We use math to compare prices, determine the best
deal, and calculate the quantity to be purchased, the weight, the price per
unit, the discount, and the overall cost of the item before making a purchase.
We also use math when calculating the total purchase cost to ensure that we are
sticking to the budget and have enough money to cover the cost.
