13. Gives us livelihood
Social
vices are unacceptable lifestyles in our society. These include drug abuse,
prostitution, and robbery among others. This is mostly due to the association
of bad company, lack of money and sometimes frustrations in life. Work always
keeps you engaged, makes you get money because you are paid and these prevent
some of these social vices.
14. Work allows us to build a family and
make friends
Work
allows people to do other things with life, like have a personal and social
life. If there was no productive work, people would not be able to have divide
their lives into different productive units. Family is one of the most
important part of life, concurrently with work, and an important source of
happiness.
15. Work provides opportunities for social
contribution
Work
isn’t merely a means of earning a living; it’s an avenue for making a
meaningful impact on society. Individuals contribute their expertise to
projects, products, or services that benefit their communities.
This
sense of purpose bolsters self-worth and amplifies a feeling of connectedness
with others. As people engage in work that improves lives, from developing
innovative technologies to providing essential services, they cultivate a
profound sense of social responsibility. This intrinsic motivation to
contribute positively to the world drives not only personal satisfaction but
also societal progress.
16. Health insurance
Beyond the mandatory sick and critical illness leave all companies are legally obligated to offer their team members, some companies provide additional medical benefits. This may include benefits such as dental coverage, an annual allowance for eye care, and life insurance. Organizations may offer non-mandatory health care benefits to provide team members with a better work-life balance.
